This one has some very nice reverb, even though it's simple, out of all the songs I've heard so far this jamuary I think it uses the limited time to compose the best. Short and Sweet like people say

I feel like the main melody might be far too quiet. The beat itself is fine it just flew by so quickly I didn't notice that it was all, which yeah what I mean to say I feel like it's missing something, maybe it being too short or just too quiet.
It kind of reminded me in the first 10 seconds of something I'd hear on Chaos and Creation In The Backyard (which is one of my favourite albums as a whole), but it definitely caught it's own spirit later on, although not always in the good parts, the metal guitar especially near the middle is and in the last 30 seconds is really really off beat which really throws me out of the beat, that and also the rapid ending kind of made the song much worse for me, I feel like there's strong potential, but just needs more time for polish
I don't feel like the instruments are mixed well together, like the strings in the beginning really stand out, and after that the saw is definitely too loud compared to the drums, and then once they get louder everything in the background kind of gets mushed together, which makes it kind of tiring to the ears. The melody itself is decent, I kind of like 1:45-2:15. But House might also just not be my thing (which it isn't). So I'm giving MY opinion of your composition as someone who doesn't have too much of an experience with the genre.
I read it as first as Jamuary 2034 which made me think futuristic stuff, and yeah it sure is, It's quite unique, I really like the 16th beat shuffle and how you used it, and the key change in the middle is also well done and very interesting.
That's a great idea! 💡
Nice observations of the track, one of the things I did here was an acoustic mix with the feel of something mechanical going forward, thanks for the comment :)
The delay I feel like is too big which makes it much worse to my ears than it could've been, the rest is pretty decent, but nothing special.
I will admit that I barely looked at how the effect was working LMAO
Yeah, it definitely has a rpg feel to it, it reminds me of Fire Emblem and Zelda, maybe in the beginning when you see those little animations showing off the game's story. I don't have much else to say, it's just well done.
I really like the beginning, it reminds me of the intro to "Ringside" from "Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise". The whole thing got a pretty nice rhythm, it changes at the right moments, although I feel like some parts could have been cut in half, but that might just be because trance isn't really my thing. it's not for me, but I think it's pretty solid, although yeah, the stillness hinders my enjoyment a bit.
The chords give this one a very nostalgic vibe, I definitely could see it playing in the background of a proffesional youtube documentary, I don't think there's any big problems with this one, everything is mixed and sampled greatly. I love the sax in the second part. Sounds great for done in 5 hours. It doesn't overstay it's velcome, like I said very well done
