Oh god do the samples not mix together well, at least to me it sounds absolutely atrocious to listen to, like I can't understand what lead to this, and it's also very repetetive to top it all off, I'm writing this part being only 2 minutes in and it's already hard to listen. Even if you were going for this kind of effect, WHY 6 MINUTES. I bet there also would be a better way of building up the tension by making it sound bad. I can hear you wanted to do the alarm clock at about 3:30, BUT WHY AROUND 3:30 AND NOT NEAR THE START, nothing about this makes sense composition wise to me, it's all over the place.
Okay if you asked me the 3 most important things to fix without changing most of the melody:
1. Remove the strings in the backyard, they're really unnecessary and prove no purpose.
2. Work on the mixing, since it's also all over the place
3. please change the samples make it shorter and work on the order of what's going on

[Oil paint resetting]

It feels rather quickly made, the reverb on the piano doesn't fit the bass to well, and feels like rather a demo track. Maybe try to go with something from the gba? like use an SF2 from a game like superstar saga or super circuit. I think either of these could work well with this song, it also needs a start and and an end I feel like. For a demo, 3 stars, as a whole, 2.

I like this one for the concept, this one is about an artist resetting over and over an oil painting cause he wants "perfection" and at the end because he is very frustrated he just do whatever and walks away

[8 - Computer Aftermath]

I really like the chords, it kind of reminds me of 'check my machine' by Paul McCartney (which is an absolute banger) and I guess that's just because of the concept alone, because it is no where near composition wise.

this doesn't deserve the 5 stars whatsoever, if I were to rank it on composition alone it'd be 4.5 stars, but man do I love how quirky it is. For me something doesn't have to be great to count as a 10/10 song, the best example I can give is something like 'Spin It On' or 'Call Me' (from Goodnight Vienna), both I'd say are probably some of the worse from the genre but man do I just love the execution even with all the imperfections. Overall I really love this one just because of how quirky it is (Also if you'd like to or would want to I recommend all three of the songs I listed)

[Shattered Drive]

I know this is kind off topic but I guess everyone I follow has already broken the rules, even I, with making like 4 different songs on sunday and monday and now I have free time until Thursday. But I guess I still am the only one who made every song during this month as of now, I have 5 unpublished songs but I'd rather wait with them until June when I plan on doing an another blow at an album. I guess I also will be doing a compilation of sorts from this month but I won't count it as another big project.

This is some nice 16th swing once again. The drums are quite fun. I really like the chill second part. It's quite fun overall, the chords are also very unique. The Outro is also great. I like it very much, how jazzy it feels.

this reminded me of lucy in the sky with diamonds and michelle at the same time.
The track itself is very solid. I understand this is take 1, but yeah you definitely should work on your voice, this has a potential to be a 4 star song at least, it definitely intrigued me.

Anddd yess, some of the beatles songs inspired me in the beginning of guitar playing, but this is like, a mix of brazilian bossa nova harmony with internacional references xd

I really like the effects and how the whole thing sounds, if you told me this was a complete track I would believe you. Absolutely love this one. Not much to say, the guitar and the harmonics are absolutely astonishing, your best track so far no doubt.

edit: forgot to say, but yes, it's the lydian scale, but in this song, i changed the key 5 times in a row, so there is like, 5 lydians gkgokgjdksoigjmioh

[Jamuary 7th - Computer's Tune]

Kind of reminds me of omori's Spaces in-between and Trees, both tracks which I really like. If I heard this track in a game it would probably be one of the most ear wormy tunes after the traumatic truth get's revealed :) *yes I still am traumatised from omori after 2 years*

[Cold Escape]

The guitar OH BOY THE GUITAR, boy does it not mix well with the rest, like everything feels so isolated which creates this jazz. IT'S NOT MIXED WELL, there's a solid idea laying under all the issues I have with the samples you chose, what volume each instrument is, the way you mixed it, but all those issues are just too much for me personally.

[Catacombs Is a Fun Word]

Yeah I can understand why you would go on a break, quality over quantity and also personal life. Have nothing against that. Just, the mixing here is not great, and also the samples don't fit each other *that well*, I feel like it could be solid, but nothing special. There's certainly not much wrong with this one overall, the composition definitely took a lot of time, which it shows (in some regards), but overall -eeeh not the best not the worst

That's fair, I suppose. It is a backlog track from a fairly long time ago - like about a year or more - so it's not exactly reflective of my current quality. I do sincerely recommend checking out some of my other songs as well, if you're interested.

We'll get them next time I guess lol
