I feel like this is a strong follow up to the first song, It definitely 'expands' on the idea of the original while standing on it's own. The Later parts remind me of something I'd hear from subnautica, although not quite. It feels like with every bar we were getting deeper and deeper into a mesmerisingly beatiful cave of sorts, the high marimba noises being droplets from stalagtites. Then it gets to a really good lofi part, man this is definitely my favourite song I've heard this jamuary, It just does so much of the stuff that I love in music even when it's done in a genre I'm usually not a big fan of. Good job mate!

JinZ responds:

Damn good ears
I didnt intend to have the tracks related to each other, they only sound similar cuz theyre made by the same guy lol
Nice interpretation still

I don't have much to say I like it well enough, It's not my genre and I think it's decent. Would have probably enjoyed it more if I was a fan of that kind of music

MWMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM responds:

This is one attempt on this genre.

So yeah you're gaining a follow because I deffinitely won't remember to check january2034 on a daily basis, I love the fact that you already went full on with this. The songs itself is pretty good I have to admit, although the strings and drums are not mixed perfectly, I think I can get behind it. I would probably make the whole thing quieter about 1:20 in to make the main melody, well main. The drums are overall too loud, I like the basis, the melody is great. Just once again some polish would be needed

DaxCamdaxian responds:

Thank you very much for your comments, I already made some corrections to the mix

Also thanks for inspiring me to give this twist to this year's jamuary, the fact that it's 2034 makes it more interesting, I'll be doing all my tunes from a futuristic approach

I don't know what other rating I'm supposed to give it, FL studio drums + FLkeys + overall composition, it's not offensive, that's the most I'll say

AngelLOL123 responds:

Thanks for the comment, I will keep it in mind xd

I read it as first as Jamuary 2034 which made me think futuristic stuff, and yeah it sure is, It's quite unique, I really like the 16th beat shuffle and how you used it, and the key change in the middle is also well done and very interesting.

DaxCamdaxian responds:

That's a great idea! 💡

Nice observations of the track, one of the things I did here was an acoustic mix with the feel of something mechanical going forward, thanks for the comment :)

The delay I feel like is too big which makes it much worse to my ears than it could've been, the rest is pretty decent, but nothing special.

xanxoepico responds:

I will admit that I barely looked at how the effect was working LMAO

The chords are very unique and interesting, giving it quite a unique vibe. If I had to catch onto something it'd be that the drums don't always fit what goes on, and it is pretty short, but still pretty good

Charlmot responds:

Thats true! I felt like something was off put couldnt figure it out. Thank you for the feedback!

I think this counts more as electric or dubstep than jazz, but I can see where you're coming from. I really like the guitar in the middle, sounds great, I feel like you should maybe revisit the idea, or the song as a whole because near the end it does fall apart a bit, or it might be just that FL studio drum being really on my nose. Idea is very good, execution mostly too, just that last 30 seconds I'd improve on.

Arponax responds:

Well i do make electronic music after all :D so even if i make rock, metal or jazz or anything else it will always have these influences. so it could be more of a electro/jazz fusion.

Anyway i did all of these spontaneously. About revisiting this, well see :D maybe someday in future ill get more solid ideas for this.

But dayum i love that last part the most actually its just so random and pure....my biggest thought after guitar was to have the synth like answer the guitar or just make a continuation of that melody, i still kinda lack speed with my guitar playing so that too could be a reason i decided for this, to just make a little more speedy licks.

Well the drums, i personally dont have much of a problem with those FLEX drum kits tho i find it interesting how so many people recognise them and find them irritating or something, its just drums for me so i use what i have :D

Anyway thanks for listening, i want to look a bit more into jazzy style so lets hope it will get better with time.
